SOLD#1918 T. K. Thun Bohemia Czechoslovakia Demicup and SaucerSOLD

Pre-WW II -- 1939 or earlier.   The mark is dated from 1918-1939 from Count Thun's Porcelain Factory. So very dainty, elegant, and sheer -- holding up to the light, the light shines through -- a sign of very fine porcelain.  The pieces are beautifully detailed with heavy gold trim.  The cup measures approximately 2 1/2 inches diameter by 2 1/4" tall.  The saucer is 5 inches diameter.  Excellent condition -- very minor pin-head size loss of gold here and there on inside gold ring of saucer.  Priced accordingly.

SOLD#2359 Victoria China Tea Set CzechoslovakiaSOLD

This beautiful tea set was made by Victoria Porcelain Factory, Schmidt & Co. Altrohlau, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, in business c.1883-1945.  This mark was used 1918-1939.  (Source:  Marks on German, Bohemian, and Austrian Porcelain by Rontgen, pages 173 and 374).  It is decorated with beautiful violets in transfer.  There are 6 cups (2 3/4" tall) and saucers; 6 plates (6 1/4" diameter); 2 bowls (5 1/4" diameter); 1 creamer and 1 teapot ( 4 1/2" high).  This old tea set is in excellent condition for its age, but it is NOT PERFECT.  There is a fleabite size nick on the edge of one cup.  Another cup has a rough place on the edge of the rim (I've tried to capture it in two photographs).  Also, there is slight wear on some of the gold trim on the rims of some of the pieces.  One bowl appears to have been repaired on one part of the inside wall of the bowl -- does not show from the outside.  Overall, these are not major flaws, but just want to be sure to be make full disclosure as to condition.  The set is beautiful for display and flaws are not readily visible.  SOLD
