Schumann Bavaria Dresden Line

Reticulated Rims

Schumann Dresden Line Bread and Butter Plate

Dresden Line is compatible with Chateau Dresden, Empress Dresden, and OLD Dresden

Dresden Line, is just like Chateau except portions of the reticulated rim on the Dresden Line are left plain and are NOT heavily decorated with the flowers as is the Chateau.  They are, however, both compatible with one another.

Please remember that all of our items are Antique and Vintage and may or may not have the usual minimal utensil marks or slight wear from normal use.  Anything of significance is duly noted in our descriptions and photographed if possible.  We strive very hard to assure the high-quality of our products and to fully disclose any significant flaws.  Rest assured that we stand behind our products and guarantee customer satisfaction.

SOLD#2419 Schumann Dresden Line Cake Stand SOLD

Two different pieces, two different marks -- obviously made into a cake stand, possibly done by the importers, E & R.  Notice close-up of picture below where it has been glued together.  Very secure.  Very pretty and very useful. Though marked Chateau, it meets the criteria of Dresden Line, not Chateau.  Notice the reticulated rim which is NOT as highly decorated with florals as is the traditional Chateau.  We believe these were incorrectly marked as Chateau.  We have an old 1961 E & R brochure which shows the traditional Chateau as still having the fully decorated rims.  Approximately 5" tall x 10 1/8" diameter.  Excellent condition.

Schumann Chateau Dresden Flowers Cake Stand

Purchased in the early 1960's, based on family information from the original owners, but probably manufactured in the 1950's. Item #2419

SOLD#2100 Schumann Dresden Line Dinner Plate SOLD

Approximately 10 1/8" inches across.  Perfect Condition.  From 1981.  Notice the mark which says Schumann Arzberg Tradition.  We have in our possession an original box from Schumann which says 100 Jahre Schumann-Tradition.   Inside the box is a whiteware plate (as pictured on outside of box).  That plate has this mark, obviously an anniversary mark used in 1981, marking their 100 years in business.
